Why are we doing this?
OPERA aim to provide financial support for young people aged 16-24 to find and stay in work. Uniting every recruiter to empower 71 million young people to #thrive, not just survive. One company, one recruiter and one young person at a time.
Their mission is to give young people and their employers the best possible chance of success and in doing so, empower young people to transform their lives.
The Atlantic Avengers
2 ‘ordinary men’ John Wilson and Ricky Reina are undertaking one of the worlds toughest challenges; rowing the Atlantic ocean. It’s no surprise then that more people have been into space, or climbed Everest than have rowed the Atlantic. It takes a certain kind of person to keep going when faced with blisters, salt rash, sharks and sleep deprivation.
These two are undertaking the Journey to Raise £500,000 for 3 Charities. The OPERA Global Youth Foundation, Shepway Sports Trust and Clic Sargent Young Lives vs Cancer. Track their journey here:
